June Levine is a Registered Dietitian with specialty certifications as a New York State Certified-Dietitian Nutritionist and a Certified Diabetes Educator. Ms. Levine completed her clinical nutrition training at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and received a Master’s Degree in Nutrition Education from Montclair State University. Her background is in nutrition counseling, project management, teaching, and curriculum development. Her primary areas of interest are preventive health and chronic disease management.
Ms. Levine currently holds a position as a Project Manager at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine (CDM). For the past 12 years, Ms. Levine has managed multiple sponsored projects at CDM focusing on early childhood caries prevention, nutrition risk assessment, and interprofessional collaboration. She manages federal and foundation grants with a focus on health information technology, e-learning methodologies, risk-assessment/disease management, and web-based disseminations. She has successfully managed pre-doctoral, postdoctoral, and faculty-development training partnerships with experts and agencies representing multiple health professions, state oral health programs, rural oral health programs, FQHCs, and dental associations.
As a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator, Ms. Levine is a content expert on social, behavioral, and environmental determinants of health; behavioral nutrition; health education; and use of technology in learning.
